STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: Create Your Own Classic Look

Style Advice of the Week

While I love looking at what is trending each season, especially this time of year coming off the end of fashion week, I would say I have a pretty classic style. Occasionally experimenting with a new trend is so much fun, but I love plaid and pearls and am pretty sure I always will. This is my personal definition of a classic look for my style.

What first caught my eye with this Fashionista was her black and white houndstooth coat. In my book, you can never go wrong with this color combo, and it was made even better with this traditional print. She paired it with a cream silk top, pearl collar necklace and pearl bow earnings to add to the timeless vibe of the look. Her pale pink bag added a trendy element with its stud accents, complementing the rest of the outfit perfectly. This Fashionista’s choice of a black boot was the best choice as it allowed the rest of the outfit to be highlighted. This is typically what many people would imagine when thinking of a classic style. However, no matter your style, everyone has that classic look she can always turn to. It doesn’t matter what is happening on the runway with this look. It’s your go-to when nothing else seems just right. For me, it would probably be an all-black outfit with a great pair of boots and a statement necklace.

This Fashionista proves that some things never go out of style like a classic black and white print and pearl jewelry. Find your version of classic and own it for years and years to come.
