Style Advice of the Week

In honor of this vibrant winter season I believe that cranberry should be named the holiday color. You decorate your home in the color and, most importantly, you style the color into your hottest holiday wear. No other color screams holiday like cranberry. Fashionistas on campus use cranberry as a statement color piece in anything from jewelry to pants.

This Fashionista takes sleek black and makes it pop with a cranberry cable knit scarf. It is very easy to take a fall basic and turn it into the perfect casual holiday ensemble with a pop of color. As fall semester comes to an end and spring semester begins in January, you may want to keep hats and headbands in mind. Adding a cranberry hat or headband would be great for cold and snowy days of class. Though no Fashionista loves to transfer to winter wear from fall, where we were able to show off our most stylish attire without bulky outerwear, we must.

Like spoken in one of my previous posts the fall uniform most definitely contains riding boots, which can easily transition from fall to winter. They can be worn with jeans, leggings and dresses. Riding boots are one of the best investments any Fashionista can make for her wardrobe. They can be worn for two seasons and will have many walks around the block.

Do not miss this red-hot winter trend on campus this holiday season. Cranberry accessories, clothing and everything in between should be a part of your holiday checklist. I hope all of you readers have a happy holiday and safe travels. One piece of advice I will give this week is keep the important things close like your family, friends and fashion.
