Remember in middle school art class when your teacher taught a lesson on the color wheel? My teacher would tell us to make sure we mixed warm colors with cool colors in our pieces to create good contrast. This unique idea is probably one of the most valuable concepts a Fashionista could use to execute an outfit.
When I saw this Fashionista, I most admired her periwinkle blue printed pants because they looked flowing and relaxing. I love pieces like this because they defy the phrase “Fashion is Pain.” You can certainly still be fashionable and comfortable. The Fashionista’s maroon tank adds a warm color contrast and knotted on the side gives the outfit a slouchy chic kind of look. The way this Fashionista accessorizes her outfit exudes an indie vibe with the cobalt blue Dolce Vita gladiator sandals with gold embellishment. I adored her multiple sterling silver rings and playful lavender sports watch.
This look is perfect for the Fashionistas who like to keep cool and comfortable. The best way to get her look, buy tanks and tees a size bigger so you can knot it if you choose or wear them loosely fitting. Her pants are one of a kind, but I don’t think the harem pants trend is dead so you could probably find some pants like the Fashionista’s pair at various retailers. Trust me; you will love yourself later when you don’t want to squeeze into those skinny jeans.
