With a week of the new semester already under our belts, students here at Central are settling back into college life with all of its pros and cons. With new classes, homework, extracurricular activities and a social life to upkeep, there isn’t much time for anything else. And when that alarm clock goes off way too early in the morning, snoozing multiple times doesn’t leave you too much time for getting ready. But just because time is short, doesn’t mean you should slack in style. For those 8 am classes that we all dread, resist the yoga pants and crewneck and instead go for an outfit just as comfy, but with some added personality.
Take this Fashionista for example, who shows you don’t have to sacrifice style for comfort. The first thing that drew me to her outfit was her printed leggings. Not only are they super comfy, but they let her personality come through. She pairs the tribal print on the bottom with matching solids on top. A black sweater and a tan pea coat were the perfect way to tie this ensemble together, while also staying warm! To amp up any outfit, accessories are key. This Fashionista’s accessories are simple, but bring her look to the next level. She pairs her comfy basics with a black leather tote with gold hardware (way more fun than a backpack!), her favorite Betsey Johnson booties and how can we forget that adorable bull pendant necklace? This outfit would get an A+ in any class!
To snag this chic and comfy style, try adding any solid black top with these printed leggings from Charlotte Russe and this Calvin Klein peacoat. Want to go one step further? Try adding this Michael Kors tote or pendant necklace from Forever 21 to really make your outfit pop. I encourage you to hit that early class in style, even if you did just roll out of bed (shhhh! I won’t tell anyone).
