STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: Color Pop

Hello December, we’ve been waiting for you!

The most anticipated month of the year is finally here, and it’s evidently bringing its chilly weather along. As it’s the end of the semester and finals are right around the corner, some people—me included—make the decision to skip the “fashion” part of their outfit and simply show up to class in a sweatshirt, sneakers and some cozy sweats. This Fashionista, however, knew she couldn’t miss out on showing off her biker-chick ensemble during finals week.

Her light hair, fire phone case, dark wine lips and distressed mom jeans show just how daring and cool this Fashionista can be, which in my opinion is part of what fashion is all about.

It’s important to stay comfortable when you know you’ll be walking around campus all day, so this Fashionista took that into consideration and decided to rock her black, thick-heeled booties for the day. While her whole outfit is edgy enough, her faux leather jacket is what adds the extra amount of boldness and makes this outfit. She also incorporated a striking Christmas red and white striped top into her outfit to contrast from the amount of black and confessed, “I didn’t forget about Christmas!” very proudly.

As this Fashionista so charmingly proved to us, if you think wearing an all-black outfit may be a bit “too much” during the holiday season, add a pop of color to it! It can be as simple as a white choker, or as intricate as a bright and shiny embellished jacket.

Happy holidays to everyone, and I wish you all a wonderful rest of the year!
