Wedge heels, a printed skirt, neutral tones, oh my! This Fashionista looks like she just stepped off of a Bottega Veneta runway show. Everything about this look works but I’m not going to overwhelm you (I know that school work is keeping you busy) so I’m going to focus solely on her sweater. This Fashionista’s beige wool sweater is a great staple piece that makes a summer outfit perfect for fall. I love that the buttons go all the way down, which allows the sweater to be open and her top and skirt to be more visible.
This Fashionista’s sweater is by Cheap Monday from Urban Outfitters. I could not find this exact sweater online but I did find other promising options on the site. This varsity stripe cardigan by Coincidence & Chance is a great collegiate item to amp up the college campus vibe. Both the red and blue are great options for fall.
My favorite is this color-block cardigan by Sparkle & Fade. Like Michael Kors’ 2013 line for fall, I love a good color-block. This oversized sweater maximizes coziness and will have all your classmates envious of your high fashion comfort.
For the Fashionistos out there, I am loving this Indy Shawl-Collar Cardigan by ZANEROBE. The shawl-collar will give any plain outfit a sophisticated edge. I also love that this sweater is neutral but has colorful stitches, which give it a unique touch. The stitching reminds me of a Tim Burton film and I can’t help but think that maybe costume designer Colleen Atwood sketched this sweater.
Whether you buy one from Urban Outfitters, Bergdorf Goodman or Salvation Army, make sure you snag a button-down cardigan before the fall season ends!
