STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: Booties Rockin’ Everywhere

Style Advice of the Week

It’s beginning to get a little cooler, the leaves are starting to change colors and layering now seems appropriate. With the changing seasons we start to see a fun shift in people’s wardrobe. It’s time to start switching out your sandals for boots. It’s never easy to say goodbye to summer, but let’s not forget how cute fall clothing is. This Fashionista was spotted layering to perfection. Every part of her outfit caught my eye and reminded me why I love the autumn months.

The colors in this outfit are relatively basic, however the maroon jeans truly make this look pop. Colored and patterned denim are a huge yes for the fall. Keep a look out for some fall inspired denim that will take your get ups from cute to fabulous.

I like that this Fashionista decided to stick with cream colors. While the weather is definitely cooler, there is no need to start dressing in black from head to toe. She shows us the perfect balance between light and darker shades. The flowy blouse and structured jacket complement each other perfectly.

The mix of dark and light hues in the scarf also even out the look. If she would have chosen to wear a cream colored scarf, it might have been over kill. The pattern attracts the eye without clashing or being overwhelming. The Fashionista also accessorizes with simple gold jewelry.

I saved the best for last! My absolute favorite part of this outfit are those killer booties. Nothing screams changing seasons like the perfect pair of boots. We might not want to jump straight into our knee-high leather boots, so booties are a great alternative.

Let’s stay positive! It’s going to be colder now and the sun may not come out as much as we hope, but that doesn’t mean we can’t look amazing. It’s okay to miss your shorts and bikinis, but get excited about all the adorable pieces for the new seasons to come.
