STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: Black, White And Rad All Over

There is really no in between when it comes to turtlenecks; you either love them or think they belong layered under your grandma’s Christmas sweaters. The turtleneck has received a bad reputation in the past for being a bit unflattering, but this season it has proved it deserves a spot in your winter wardrobe.

Not only is it extremely warm, but recently there have been so many new styles and fits that make the turtleneck a very versatile piece. If you are a nonbeliever, it is definitely time to take the leap and see what you are missing out on. This Cheap Monday knit is perfect for the chilly winter months, while this Free People turtleneck makes your morning routine easier by doing the layering for you.

This Fashionista decided to go with an oversized turtleneck to stay cozy during a long day of back-to-back classes. Since we had a little tease of spring, she took advantage of the weather and wore the lighter fit top without any other layers. The longer hemline and loose fit allows for maximum comfort, similar to this ASOS tunic. She finished off the look with a pair of shiny black oxfords, dainty gold bracelets and her favorite rings, which gave the look her own flare.

What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK? “Layers are a must, especially with how crazy and unexpected the weather has been lately! I always keep a cardigan and scarf nearby just in case I need a little something extra.”
