It’s cool to be neutral. Neutrals tend to get a bad rap because they can appear boring and unexciting, but with the right styling neutrals can make an outfit more swoon-worthy and less of a snoozefest. This Fashionista is cool in her black, gray and white getup. It’s heating up in the mile-high, and I wrote about wearing bright colors to ring in the springtime in a recent post. Warm weather is a great time to rock bright colors, but this Fashionista shows us that neutrals look just as good. Cool neutrals like blacks and grays are usually worn more often in the chillier months. Neutrals can be hard to pull off because there is a fine line between drab and monochromatic-chic, but this Fashionista gives them a fresh spin.

A marled gray cardigan ties the black and white colors together and is perfect in case a breeze comes in.
