STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: Black and Bold

February 27th, 2015 at 2:00am

With frigid temperatures and busy class schedules, it seems almost impossible to have any motivation to dress fashionable during these bone chilling winter months. This Fashionista rocks a cute and comfortable outfit without much effort at all! I spotted this Fashionista in a large lecture hall. Her adorable jewels and fun neon colors on her blouse made her stand out. She pulls off the infamous all-black outfit very well with her own touch of style.

This Fashionista had a colorful vibe without much color at all. Her cotton top is screen-printed with a mix of a bright pink, red, blue and yellow tribal print. The top dips down just enough to show a little skin. It also has two long tassels that can either be tied at the chest or left hanging. This top is super easy for class but still had enough personality to catch my eye!

Black on black is such an easy and fashionable trend. It’s always a safe choice to pair black pieces together. This Fashionista pairs her cute bohemian shirt with comfortable black leggings. My favorite aspect of her outfit is her black leather boots. Her boots go over-the-knee and have a great silver buckle at the back. Not only are these shoes a bold and trendy fashion piece, but they’re also a perfect height for keeping her legs warm on campus.

This Fashionista’s outfit is pulled together with some fun jewels. One of my favorite pieces is her yin yang ring. She also stacked a few beaded bracelets together on each wrist. These colorful accessories are a perfect addition to her look.

What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK? “I love my over-the-knee boots! They easily dress up any casual outfit.”
