STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: Bieber Fever

As winter rolls around, everyone is getting sick—with Bieber fever. With his latest album “Purpose,” it is hard not to transform into a Belieber! I know I have definitely fallen for him with his voice and newfound style in music. Not only this, but I have become a major fan of his style.

Justin Bieber embraces the idea of “causal cool.” He is always sporting ripped denim, long tunic-like T-shirts and baseball caps. Bieber’s way of layering is what catches my eye especially. He is not afraid to mix different lengths and fabrics. One of the most unique looks I have seen him pull off is denim-on-denim. I am not talking Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears circa 2001 denim-on-denim but rather a look that has jaws dropping on how he manages to make it look so effortless!

This Fashionisto pulls off the denim-on-demin look just as well as Bieber does, maybe even better (don’t tell Justin I said that). He paired his light-wash jeans with a light-wash jacket. Wearing two denim pieces of the same wash can be tricky; that’s why you need to break it up with a patterned piece like the striped T-shirt he is wearing.

With any look as cool as this one, accessories are a must. This Fashionisto added his favorite crisp white sneakers and a baseball cap. White sneakers are the final touch to all casual-cool looks. Don’t be afraid to express yourself with the hat you wear, whether it’s a bold color, your favorite sports team or a funky pattern.

What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK? “Denim on denim is a trend that can never really die. No matter how much fashion progresses, denim will always be relevant in today’s fashion world. Pulling off the trend is always easier with a distressed shirt, like the one I am wearing.”
