The dreaded time is upon us — finals week. Schedules are packed, students are stressed and the long end of semester break seems completely unreachable. I’m pretty sure every college student loathes finals week, it’s basically an unwritten rule. And, as Fashionistas, we all know that when all you’re doing with your day is taking a cumulative test, then returning to your spot at the library, it’s hard to dress to impress. During exam season, comfortably chic is definitely the right answer.
This stylish lady definitely aced the Style Advice 101 exam with this all black look. Every aspect of it screams comfort, while also staying super cute. She picked a killer pair of leather leggings as her staple piece, which I absolutely adored. Adding a twist to classic leggings instantly made her outfit one of a kind. They’re all the rage right now, and I’m a huge fan of this trend. I swear by my Topshop leather leggings because I love how they transform a simple look to a stylish one so easily. This easy upgrade is perfect for a time when your brain is already filled to the brim.
Pairing her pants with this fabulous oversized sweater, this Fashionista made the grade again. Incredibly comfortable, I can’t help but picture myself staying cozy in this black knit sweater from Aritzia while I study. This chic student then finished off her outfit with a simple pair of brown flats. Similar to the ones this Fashionista wore, this black leather Sam Edelman pair stays on task with her black on black look, keeping it going into her accessories. Another change, these Lucky Brand leopard print flats add some flair to this simple, yet stylish outfit.
This Fashionista powered through finals week in this comfortably chic look, keeping it simple with black on black. Staying cozy, but staying stylish, live at the library in this fabulous look, and take on your tasks like a pro! Good luck out there, Fashionistas!
