STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: Autumnal Aesthetics

The month of October is a personal favorite of mine. Between the fresh presence of fall weather, Halloween themed everything and flannels on flannels, it’s hard to pinpoint what the best part about it is. Flannels are a staple of my personal wardrobe year-round, whether around the waist during the summer, as a light jacket in the spring or as a warm layer in the winter. One of the best parts about fall is probably how flannels can be worn any number of these ways. This Fashionisto wears his as a light jacket and does so flawlessly.

This guy stood out to me when it comes to men’s fall fashion street style, among other things. Going without that lumberjack man bun (that is actually said to cause premature balding), this fellow’s scruff is nothing but a soft stubble as he rocks the pumpkin spice out of his classic red and white fall flannel that he has smartly layered over a blue, grayish T-shirt. His flannel is a standout piece, as it features added length for style and gold zipper accentuations on either side.

On his way to class, this stunner paired the flannel over a T-shirt combo with a simple pair of pants, keeping the red and white flannel in focus and establishing a vibe that is put together without being too simple. He tops the look off with his favorite pair of Timberland boots and a wooden SPGBK watch with a bright blue face.
