One of the top leading fashion trends that never goes out of style is neutrals. Neutrals are usually colors like beige, ivory, taupe, black, gray and white. Although these colors are sometimes seen as “colorless,” these hues usually have hidden undertones of color. White might have an undertone of yellow or peach, and beige might have an undertone of pink or gold. This makes it hard to find the perfect shade of the neutral you are looking for, but this also means that there are more options to choose from. This week my advice to you is to have as many neutrals as you can to broaden your closet in a small yet big way.
I spotted this Fashionista for her use of neutrals. She had a cute and simple way of combining most of the neutral colors. She wears a basic white shirt under a tan knit cardigan and cheetah print scarf, black leggings, matching UGGs and a black beanie. She also has on a tan/cream chunky watch to finish the look. This casual outfit is perfect for many events. She looks comfortable yet stylish with her neutrals and subtle accessories. I like the fit of her cardigan and the way it flows in the front, but my favorite part of her outfit is her scarf and beanie. These colors also complement her skin tone and hair color.
Neutrals are great to have because you can easily add on color to make the outfit pop, or you can let the neutrals stand alone. I personally love neutrals because they complement my light brown hair and tan skin tone. Neutrals are usually the colors my eyes go to right when I walk into a store, and I know I can never have too many neutral clothing items.
