Hey there Fashionistas! Do you ever envy outfits or accessories that are being worn by complete strangers you pass by in town or around campus? Well that happens to me all the time. I find it inspiring because then I can take ideas from people I see around town and add those elements to my style. When this Fashionista walked into a local salon in town that I work at, I just could not resist asking her for a few photos.
The second I saw these gorgeous black leather gladiator sandals strut into the salon I had to find out where I could get myself a pair. Even though, coincidentally, I was wearing a pair of knee-high gladiators as well that day, they weren’t as fabulous and chic as these.
I am totally obsessing over the casual, feminine, yet edgy look that this Fashionista put together. This cotton floral skater dress complements her petite figure adding the femininity and flirt to this look with the A-line silhouette. The black knee-high gladiator sandals add a spark of edge to her ensemble. Of course, you could never go wrong carrying a gorgeous statement bag; in this case this Fashionista is accessorizing with her oversized Louis Vuitton handbag with gold hardware. Her silver Michael Kors wrist watch and all black Ray-Ban aviators keep this look classic and simple. I love how this Fashionista kept the accessorizing to a minimum to not take away from the statement shoes she was wearing. Now, I have to go online and find myself a pair of these shoes.”
What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK? “You can never go wrong with a great pair of shoes and a dress to beat the heat! Keep in mind, sometimes going simplistic with the accessories and bold with a great bag or shoe is the best choice you can make.”
