STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: A Simple Graphic

March 27th, 2015 at 2:00am

During these last few weeks of the winter season, temperatures are cool but the sunshine is strong. Recently hibernating Kent State students are stepping out in daring short sleeve shirts and guys around campus can already been wearing shorts. It’s starting to get difficult for Fashionistas around campus to decide what to wear in this seasonal switch. Some choose light sweaters, other brave souls choose light blouses and boots.

This Fashionista’s gray fleece sweater is the perfect weight for this season transition. It’s a soft and warm option but not too heavy. The large rose pattern really makes this casual outfit special. The roses are fun and chic and the light pink and white really pops against the charcoal gray. Having cool graphic pieces in your closet is an easy way to make your outfits expressive while still being comfortable without much effort.

This comfy long sleeved sweater goes nicely with skinny blue jeans. The sweater flows nicely over the tight pants. Denim and a sweater always look chic and fashionable. The heeled suede booties with this look are a great touch. Adding a little height to an outfit is an easy way to look polished and sassy! The oatmeal color of the shoes brings a light aspect to the outfit. The silver zipper goes well with her light pink and silver beaded bangle. This Fashionista is on point!

What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK?: “Dress a pair of jeans up with some booties. Statement jewelry is always a great accessory to an outfit as well”
