If any of you are like me, you don’t want the summer to end. The warm days, the breezy nights, the walks through the park and the summer fashion are just part of what makes summer so special. I have spent most of my summer on the trendy streets of NYC but am finishing it off on the beautiful rocky coast of Maine where the outdoor activities are endless.
This Fashionista knows how to coordinate her style with whatever exciting activity may come her way. Whether it’s a stroll down the street or a sunset sail, this Fashionista is fully prepared for any endeavor. Her simple tank and cuffed denim shorts are tied perfectly together with her adorable bandana headband.
Even though we are in New England, this Fashionista looks like she’s ready for the country with that headband. She has muted colors, casual moccasins, a cross-body bag but that bright red hair piece really pulls her look together.
You can easily achieve this Fashionista’s look with a few simple pieces. First find your favorite pair of denim shorts or cut-offs, add a breezy tank and then add in your own little twist of country. You could follow this Fashionista’s lead and tie your hair up in a topknot and embellish it with your bandana or you could get creative. Tie a few bandanas together and make yourself a funky belt or knot it around the strap of your purse for a different effect. It’s up to you to find a cute way to put a little country twist into your casual outfit.
You don’t necessarily have to use a bandana. That is just one way for a subtle country touch. Another way you could embellish you country twang is with a hat or some boots. Find small ways to show your country style. Don’t let the end of summer dampen your trendy style, let it fuel your creativity to try some of those cute new styles that you may not have wanted to try before.
