We welcome fall in full force now that it is officially October and fall fashions are in high demand. Through all social media sites like Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, fall styles are being advertised to no end. If I had a dollar for every pumpkin spiced latte picture I’ve seen, I’d finally be able to afford a new pair of Tory Burch riding boots. But wait, I live in St. Augustine, Florida and the temperature today is supposed to reach highs of 85. Doesn’t sound like fall to me. So while everyone up North is bundling up, we’ll keep doing our thing down here.
This week’s Fashionista has transitioned to her Florida fall clothes. She wears a tight, simple, navy blue and white striped dress with a pair of white sandals. A gold bangel cuff on her right hand and she’s ready to rock it. Keeping it simple and natural for class with her straight hair hanging effortlessly down this chica knows how to use her otherwise “summer attire” as a transition into the fall season.
A transitional dress like this week’s Fashionista wore is perfect to have in your closet while you’re deciding what season you want to represent. Stripes aren’t for everyone and while she rocked this look you might be looking for something more classic or basic as a fall style. Try instead of a pattern a dark color. Olive green and plum purple are two of my favorite colors for fall. They’re also two colors that are great to accessorize with.
Fall is a great season for style so don’t be afraid to be bold and step out of your comfort zone ladies.
