STYLE ADVICE FOR THE WEEK: The Premium Romper

May 19th, 2015 at 2:00am

The season of spring and summer is among us, and it is beautiful! School is getting out (Hallelujah!) and the weather is on-point. Say goodbye to homework and additional layers, and say hello to lightweight garments galore. With this weather, the layers decrease as the sun shines more. I love this weather because I don’t have to worry about additional layering in order to keep me warm.

This Fashionista is wearing a floral romper that is perfectly made for this sunny spring day. This romper style is perfect for a active spring day and fitting for an end of the year picnic. You can be active because of the shorts-like construction, so you would feel less awkward than if you were playing volleyball in a dress. Rompers are the premium version of a dress that you can do a cartwheel in! As the night arrives and a gentle chill is in the air, a denim jacket would do well to complete her outfit. This Fashionista is also wearing a pair of nude-colored flats, which matches the multiple colors of this romper.

From a designer’s view, this outfit would be an example of resort wear. This romper reminds me of the color scheme Dior used in his recent resort 2016 collection with the color similarity of purples, orange, grays and tans. This Fashionista is ahead of the trend by pulling off these magnificent colors used for resort 2016.

What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK? I encourage you Fashionistas to wear  rompers and jumpers! They are the premiums of dresses!
