STYLE ADVICE: February Slump

February is admittedly not my favorite month for fashion. If you too feel the February blues when looking through your closet, have no fear. Through extensive practice I have discovered the perfect way to ditch a pair of leggings during these final cold weeks of winter and still feel comfortable sitting in class.

This outfit is incredibly comfortable and worth recreating if you want to be cute and cozy. I think it is the perfect remedy for the second month slump. The green pants are made from a soft material and can be replaced with any soft cloth a Fashionista has in their wardrobe. So if you were looking to ditch leggings and spice it up, here is the perfect opportunity. Throw on some cotton sweatpants or some polyester blend and be the cozy cute Fashionista the world knows you to be. This look is also great because it pairs perfectly with the sweater because you can tuck the sweater in or let it hang loose, and both looks look amazing. Not only that, but who doesn’t love a soft sweater on those chilly mornings in your history class? This is sure to keep anyone cozy and help them feelĀ at home even when they want to be in bed. This look can be rocked a hundred different ways so it is useful to have in a Fashionista arsenal because instead of wearing the same legging sweatshirt combination to class everyday, it can really be switched up completely between the two simple pants and sweater options. The shoes are so cute and comfortable they slip right on and you can head out the door. Obviously if it is too cold the shoes can be swapped out for something toastier, which just reiterates my point on how universal and easy this look can be to recreate and switch up.
