STYLE ADVICE: Don’t Rain on His Parade

How have the holidays already come and gone? Sadly, this means we are getting closer and closer to the dead of winter—more snow and ice. Now that the temperatures are lowering by the day, we as Fashionista/os have to adapt our outfit choices to the different weather patterns. This means more comfy sweaters, layers, and boots. Are we ready for this? Probably not, but we will get through the low temperatures together, especially this Fashionisto!

This Fashionisto is brave enough to fight the gross rainy and snowy weather and show off one of his favorite winter looks. He is rocking his favorite Hollister Co. navy sweater that he wears to stay fresh and warm. He matched the sweater with a pair of flat front, slim fit khaki pants. He ties the entire outfit together with his suede, wing tip Polo by Ralph Lauren shoes. Unfortunately, since it is raining, he couldn’t forget his umbrella. He also said his signature look at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York is wearing his lanyard tucked into his pockets. He said he will never loose his room key and everyone will know that he goes to Marist; it is a win-win in his book!

When looking for winter clothing, look for items that will work with different outfit choices and that you will be able to layer. Layering is key for the cold winter months; it helps you stay warm and look fashionable! This will also save you money in the long run and make you look super stylish without owning a ton of clothing. You can also try buying comfy sweaters to stay warm during the winter season. Winter designers have put out some of the greatest outfit choices for men and women’s ready to wear. Now, all we have to do is take advantage of the numerous choices while we still can!

Don’t forget to stay RAD and be FAB!
