STYLE ADVICE: Confidence in Fashion

I hope all is well and you all enjoyed your holiday and long winter break! While walking on campus in the freezing cold, I stumbled upon this beauty named Lexi. What first caught my attention was her beautiful black and white fuzzy sweater. I have to admit—I (obviously, from my last article) have a weakness for these. After bombarding with the obvious, “Oh my god! Where did you get that sweater?” question, we hit it off instantly, and I learned that this is one of the sweetest, kindest human beings I have ever come across.

All the way from Orange county California, Lexi traveled across the country to play division one volleyball. So when we eventually sat down to review the photos, I asked her what inspires her personal style; she told me what she honestly aims for is to be comfortable, but to feel confident. Nothing matters more than loving the skin you’re in, and I think every single person on this planet has at one point or another struggled with self-confidence, so hearing Lexi tell me how important it is to be happy with who you are really stuck with me.

Lexi’s super comfy-cute look is perfect for class. Her black leather jacket and dark jeans go perfectly with her super fuzzy sweater. She paired it with some cuffed jeans and booties that were also to DIE for. The dark colors keep this look polished and perfected.
Meeting Lexi was an amazing reminder that in fashion, feeling good on the inside, no matter what you’re wearing, is what is going to make you shine. Feeling awesome in what you’re wearing is going to make the boldest statement of them all—that’s why Lexi stood out to me so much!

Until next time, I hope you all have a great Valentine’s Day with your loved ones.
