STYLE ADVICE: Black Is the New Black

A gorgeous black outfit will never go out of style. As I have mentioned in my previous posts, I love a simple and clean look with a few accessories that stand out. An outfit like this can make anyone look chic and put together. I believe that the best style to strive for is what makes you look and feel outstanding.

This black, scalloped romper gives this Fashionista a beautiful figure. The black belt helps to cinch in her waist and make the scalloped edges of the romper pop even more. With Valentine’s Day this month, February is the most romantic time of the year. The scalloped design on this romper creates a flirty and playful twist to this classic look. Even though it is still considered winter, here in Florida it feels like summer. You can easily transition this outfit for a cooler day, or a night out by wearing a long jumpsuit. I am currently in love with rompers and jumpsuits, partly because this style means you only have to wear one piece.

You can never go wrong with a black crossbody bag. I love the gold details on this purse, and the Rebecca Minkoff-esque style it has. Crossody bags are definitely my favorite type of purse because of how easy they are to throw on with any outfit. You can also add a pop of color to any outfit by switching out your black bag for a bright colored one. The black strappy heels create a chic and elegant addition to this outfit. These black heels can be worn casually with jeans and a cute blouse, or dressed up, as shown in this look. The black floppy hat, along with the scalloped edges in the romper, contrast from the classy aspects of this outfit to add a fun twist. Floppy hats are perfect for a bad hair day, to keep the sun off of your face, or to just add a unique accessory to your outfit.
