We all know our fellow Fashionistos have a limited number of accessories in their closet, but spotting a trend in men’s fashion this week wasn’t a hard act to accomplish. Most people think that all men own are sneakers and jeans, but that’s not necessarily true. The Fashionisto I sought out this week looked sharp in khaki pants and a button-down. He spruced up his look by wearing a unique watch and a pair of oxfords. Fashionistos on the Marist campus are taking on spring at the head of the class, accessories and all.
If you look closely at the picture of the Fashionisto’s watch, you’ll notice a very interesting and unique face. The face of the watch appears to look like the inside of a real clock, like something you would see in the preview to a movie. I loved how this Fashionisto took wearing a watch to the next level by purchasing one with a little flair. Surprisingly, you can actually tell what time it is, even though the intricate face looks a bit intimidating. I think it’s important for every Fashionisto to own a watch so that it not only helps them get to class and work on time, but also adds a little something extra to their everyday T-shirt and jeans look. Be sure to check out this awesome Citizen watch, which can be found online at Macy’s.
Another vital part of any Fashionisto’s wardrobe are the shoes on his feet. I have come to find that men are obsessed with shoes, whether they are sneakers or more dressy. This Fashionisto rocked his casual outfit by pairing it with neutral toned oxfords. I must say his shoes were my favorite part of his outfit and I love how his chambray shirt added just the right amount of color. Sperry Top-Siders are also a good investment if you are looking for a more comfortable feel throughout the spring and summer months. So Fashionistos, grab your favorite pair of oxfords and get ready to saddle up for spring!
