Even though it’s seasonally still winter, preparing for spring several weeks in advance is nothing new. Spring break is rolling around the corner quick and while we are all focused on getting our Cancun-bods in order, there is another matter at hand. What are you going to wear on the plane?
Finding a perfect “Chicago to paradise” outfit is one of the most difficult tasks. Bearing arms leaves you shivering on the frigid plane but bundling up will have you sweating bullets long before you land. As always, a Fashionisto can be found to remedy the dilemma.
His pullover is thin enough to allow some breathing room but the long sleeves protects you when your neighbor turns their fan on full-blast. The speckled print on the sweater takes it a notch up from a basic to a graphic.
I particularly like the color combo of the sweater and pants. While initially stupefying, you realize it just makes sense! In addition, these beauties are also gold corduroy. Take a minute and let that marinate. Gold. Corduroy. Color and texture are key to a dynamic outfit, and this Fashionisto has got it all!
One of my favorite parts of this outfit are the shoes. I’m definitely a shoe fanatic and a guy in plain sneakers just does not cut it for travel or anything else for that matter. Although it’s tempting to slip on the ol’ faithfuls for those several hours of cramped legs and mediocre airline food, Fashionista/os mustn’t give in! These lace-up boots are a comfortable, and dapper, alternative.
Most of us can’t go anywhere without our headphones and we definitely can’t leave them behind for the plane ride. The over-the-ear Beats headphones are quality in sound and style. Having these around your neck keeps the look casual and prepares you for that crying baby who seems to come as a package deal with long flights.
One Simple Change: Add a denim jacket for an extra layer of warmth and style!
