I'm loving denim this summer... Or at least the end of the summer! Denim vests, as I've mentioned before, are an accessorizing piece of clothing. Denim jackets, however, are definitely for the purpose of keeping yourself warm. You can definitely feel the chill these couple of weeks, and bringing a jacket or sweater with you is generally a good idea.

Even though this Fashionista was with in a crowd, I still successfully spotted her. One of the reasons why I saw her from afar was probably because she is very tall. Also, I loved her polka dot dress. Polka dot is a fashion trend for summer 2011, but I haven't seen a lot of people rocking it. That might be one of the reasons why I was excited to chase after her and ask for a photo. This trend should've been "a hit" because it is very easy and simple to make this style look fabulous. Polka dots is a great way to make a boring monotone dress look fun and chic. However, if paired incorrectly, polka dots can make me feel very dizzy. Usually, it'd nice to pair an uni-coloured jacket (like this Fashionista) and a pair of simple shoes. Too many colours and details can draw too much attention to you.

Her look is simple but attractive. To recreate her look, you can find a polka dot dress almost anywhere. I found one on Style Exchange which I really like. Since she matched her blue polka dot dress with a blue denim jacket, we can match this black polka dot dress with a dark shade denim jacket. Her sandals might be hard to find because I haven't seen anything like them in store, but any lace sandals can look good with this outfit. The key point here is to keep the rest of your outfit simple.

If you want a fancier look, you can also wear a plain t-shirt on the top, and pair it with a cute little polka dot skirt. The way to make this outfit fancy is to top it off with a pair of heels. It'll look neat, clean, simple, and best of all, fashionable.
