STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: K.I.S.S.

I don't know what it is about Vienna's fashion scene, but I've been so inspired lately. It might be the fact that I see Fashionistas every direction I turn, as they run to catch the U-BAHN or walking out of the supermarket, dressed adorably – simple, but most importantly unique. I just love how, after dissecting their outfits, how understated and simple each piece of the outfit is, but when seen in its entirety is so chic. That effortlessness is just the reason why I stopped this Fashionista!
I just loved this Fashionista urban take on the simple yet classic LBD (little black dress). It was jersey, which made it über casual, conservative (due to the high neckline), and uniquely young because of the print and open back. The other K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple Stupid) elements were her black ballerinas, sunnies, and her effortless addition of two brightly-colored accents pieces (purse and nail polish), which brought personality and created an overall chic and effortless outfit.
If I've learned one thing from being abroad and photographing this Fashionista, it is to be sure to K.I.S.S. when dressing; being mindful of buying edgier versions of the classics (referencing this Fashionista's LBD) and keeping it fun, yet simple with the accents. I totally feel this outfit stays true to the K.I.S.S. principal and as I think about, the major reason I've become very fond of Viennese style.
