I’m back in the Golden State, sunny California, and it’s even more beautiful than I remember. I mean, I haven’t been abroad that long (only a month), but I have a renewed love for my home state's Fashionistas. Vienna’s style, in my opinion, was more put together and streamlined, but nothing beats So-Cal’s laid-back and relaxed style.

The perfect example of that laid-back and relaxed style is why I stopped this Fashionista. I loved her baggy button-down, belted boyfriend jeans and sandals, but what was great about the entire outfit was how spontaneous it seemed; it looked like she raided her boyfriend’s closet, yet it was so chic and put together.

I’ve been a big fan of boyfriend jeans since they’ve become a trend, and I’m a firm believer they should be just as valued as your best-fitting skinny jeans and boot-cut jeans. They instantly give you the too cool for school attitude (who doesn’t want that?), yet they also appear effortless.

What I liked most about this Fashionista's look was her choice to combine two oversized pieces. It can be difficult to pull off two loose-fitting pieces in the same outfit for fear of appearing frupy, but she totally rocks it. So, next time you opt for laid-back and relaxed style, borrow from the boys and keep it baggy!
