Fashionistas may wear a different pair of shoes each day or switch their favorite earrings for a new necklace, but what Fashionistas have on them everyday is their phone. Phone cases have become a new opportunity for Fashionistas to make a statement. Designers are taking full advantage of this and are putting phone cases on the market. I spotted this Fashionista’s phone case walking out of a coffee shop and I just had to ask her where she had found it. This Fashionista’s white iPhone was eye-catching because of her Tory Burch case that just happened to showcase some of my favorite summer colors: mustard yellow, fuchsia, and aqua. Designers' phone cases range from bright orange neon cases (such as this Kate Spade case) to more subtle textured cases (such as this Tory Burch case). Fashionistas cannot rely solely on a phone case to complete an outfit, but investing in a phone case is a new fun way Fashionistas are dressing up their everyday look.
This fashionista was wearing a pleated pink blouse and a khaki pencil skirt. This fashionista had a preppy style, but her blouse introduced a popular trend from this spring’s runways: pleats. The shirt also gave her outfit some texture. Her blouse and skirt complemented each other well, but the outfit would not have been complete without her subtle metallic accessories. The Fashionista's necklace, earrings, and shoes were all the same metallic gold and pulled her outfit together. This Fashionista did not use one piece to make a statement but kept it simple and classic. Her fun iPhone case was an excellent addition to her look!
Spotted: Pleats were seen on the runway in Prada's Ready-To-Wear Spring Collection such as this skirt.
