Color blocking is a fun trend that allows you to pair different solid colors to create bright and cheery outfits. Pairing bright colors is one of my favorite things to do; I’ve always loved colors that stand out and make a statement. This Fashionista chose to wear fuchsia heels and a ruffled shirt, which she wore with a neutral black leather jacket and a slimming pair of skinny jeans. Skinny jeans come in a variety of colors and styles; the darker color of these jeans helps to balance her outfit by making the shirt and heels the focal points. Adding heels to an outfit is always a plus in my book and these hot pink heels give a perfect pop of color to complete this Fashionista’s look. Colored heels are a great way to add color into a look if you are wearing a neutral-toned outfit. This cobalt Steve Madden heel could also be used to add an exciting pop of color into any outfit, and the studs along the back give the heel a creative twist.
A must have for every Fashionista is a leather jacket. Leather jackets can be worn with any outfit to add the perfect amount of flare and they are completely functional as well. This Fashionista wore a simple black jacket over her fuchsia shirt which helped tone down the color, but still gives it the right amount of sparkle. When some people think of leather jackets, they may associate them with a rocker style, but that’s not always the case. There are some jackets that fit perfectly into that genre with rips and studs such as this one. However, I personally have a variety of leather jackets that range from rocker to one with a ruffle down the center which adds a girly touch.
Alex and Ani bracelets are the new “in” thing this season. I have to admit, I’m currently obsessed with them. Not only are the bracelets cute but they are eco-friendly and are positive energy products. This Fashionista has a variety of charms dangling from her arm. You can find these bracelets both online and in stores. My favorites are the nautical charms; I’m all about anything associated with the ocean.
