In the midst of midterms, it’s definitely tempting to throw on your favorite pair of sweats and sneakers and wish to be nothing but comfortable while taking an exam. But it seems as though Italy brings the best style out of every Fashionista/o regardless of the circumstance. Perhaps dressing your best gives you a little more confidence for a test.
While walking past Piazza Navona after photography class, I spotted this Fashionista on her way to her marketing midterm. The first thing that caught my eye was her leather vest from Zara similar to this. A vest, whether it being denim, fur or leather, is the perfect staple for any look. A stylish vest can look good on top of or underneath pretty much anything, and it can also be worn under layers for colder weather. Her maroon shirt gives her outfit the perfect amount of contrast to make the outfit pop and accomplish an edgy style.
To continue, her chunky heeled boots resembling these were particularly unique and distinctive. This Fashionista dares to add just the right about of brown and black together, which is usually perceived as a fashion don’t, but succeeds in achieving a complementary look. In Italy, chunky heeled ankle boots are a must-have for any outfit, and this Fashionista snagged a pair of chunky boots with a lace-up style. She pulls off a military-chic look with her boots!
Finally, This Fashionista does her accessories just right. She incorporates a long pendant necklace, a pair of oversized oval sunglasses and her Marc Jacobs cross-body flap bag to complete her bold look. This Fashionista gets an A+ on street style.
