While abroad, I have been blessed with several opportunities to travel all throughout Europe. In each place, I have noticed distinct fashions and have made it a priority to incorporate one new piece from each country to my style. To be honest, shopping is the thing I mostly look foreword too when traveling. It’s a bit dangerous for my wallet! However, there are many finds that can be bargained for on the streets that will be part of my abroad collection for life.
I spotted this Fashionista headed to her apartment in the Trastevere area. Her accessories were the first thing I noticed. When I chatted with her, I came to realize that her bag was the exact bag from the leather market in Florence that I decided not to buy last minute. I have never been so disappointed! Her bag is the staple piece to her look. She successfully manages to dress up a casual outfit while looking trendy. A big stylish bag is the quickest way to make a fashion statement and dress up a basic look.
To continue, her brown suede motorcycle boots, similar to these, are the perfect way to add a little contrast to her style. Black and brown is extremely popular in Italy. Whether paired with black tights, black leggings or black jeans, brown boots are the perfect way to pair the two neutrals together. This Fashionista finishes off her casual look with her army green trench coat, white beanie and Ray-Ban sunglasses. I can’t wait to incorporate my all my pieces from overseas like this Fashionista does!
