Shoes are meant to be comfortable. If I had to think of the downright most comfortable pair of shoes I own, it would be my slippers. A shiny blue slipper made of velour-like fabric with a faux fur interior from Macy’s hold the key to my feet’s heart. There is no need to buy a box of band-aids for the first week of breaking them in, or really any concern over their appearance because there’s probably no way they would be worn out of the house. This, however, is why we must opt for a comfortable, yet fashionable alternative to these plush feet companions.
Besides looking particularly put-together in her printed silk pants, long blazer and extremely cool hairdo, this Fashionista also donned a pair of slipper loafers. Although I wasn’t the one wearing them, they came across as easy to slip on and comfortable — the perfect chic slipper. The brocade detail was also not to be ignored.
In addition to these cute slippers, the Fashionista rocked a few other noteworthy accessories, such as her dusty gold spiked statement necklace and red and brown men’s bag. She was even sporting bright red nails and a very simple and modern looking black watch.
Overall, this Fashionista’s look had elements of a very stylish pajama party, namely her wonderful silk pants and shoes. However, she doesn't come close to looking like she rolled out of bed. If you are interested in finding a stylish pair of slipper loafers, look at ASOS online, where you can find floral printed ones and even a pair with a graffiti print. As for her other accessories, statement necklaces will speak to your personal style whether you are at H&M, Nordstrom, or in your mother's jewelry box. Red nail polish can be found at any drugstore, department store or roommate's collection of nail polish.
