WHAT TO WEAR: Greek Life

What to Wear

Nothing screams college like being a member of Greek Life. Whether you are in a fraternity or a sorority, always presenting yourself in a well-put together and classy way is something that every organization values.

Being in a sorority is something that I hold dear, and with that I have developed some of my best style tips. My fellow sorority sister is wearing the most typical sorority girl article of clothing — letters. Letters symbolize being in your organization and they come in so many different colors. There is an array of shirt color options, along with different sparkly borders and patterns for the actual Greek symbols. If you are in greek life, it is a good idea to have a collection of letters. They are perfect for philanthropies and just hanging around with your brothers and sisters. They can also be purchased in sweatshirts, sweatpants and V-neck T-shirts.

This Fashionista is also wearing a dark wash pair of Citizens of Humanity denim jeans. Jeans are the classic garment for sorority women. Not only do they come in many different washes and lengths, but they are perfect to wear to just about any Greek life related event. Having a few different pairs of jeans is essential whether they are expensive or inexpensive.

This Fashionista is also wearing a cardigan to go over her letters. Cardigans are perfect to wear over these shirts because it gives the look some more color. Cardigans are inexpensive and come in many different colors. You can find a great selection at Old Navy. Cardigans are key, especially on the warmer days of the semester.

Finally, this Fashionista is wearing a pair of Tory Burch boots. I would say that having a black pair of riding boots will help you to style up all of your outfits during the winter, especially when you are dressed in your Greek life attire. No matter what, always represent your chapter in style!

One Simple Change: Instead of the jeans, throwing on a pair of yoga pants would make this outfit more comfortable and perfect for a long night of studying at the library!
