STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: Rock Your School In Style!

Style Advice of the Week

College students all over the country do their to best to maintain their utmost school spirit; especially during Homecoming. Whether you attend a big university or a small college, it is extremely fun to dress in your school apparel. Being CollegeFashionistas we sometimes forget that it is so easy to do this with style and avoid the classic motto of “bumming it out,” just because you may be in sweats.

As I was walking to class the other day, I spotted this Fashionista wearing our college sweatshirt. Being that it is Homecoming week here, students around campus are dressed head to toe in school gear. She specifically caught my eye because she wore it with so much style. This crew neck gray sweatshirt with UCONN across it was purchased at our school store. Every college has a bookstore with endless possibilities of different school attire! You can wear a hooded sweatshirt, a long-sleeve shirt, a short-sleeved shirt and even sweatpants.

This Fashionsta wore her school proud by accompanying her college sweatshirt with a dark wash pair of J Brand jeans. They make her ensemble perfect for class, hanging out with friends and even for attending a sporting event. She could have even worn leggings with this outfit to dress it down a bit!

She continues to keep her outfit extremely stylish with her light brown pair of Enzo Angiolini boots. They are the perfect fall boots and match perfectly with her outfit. Fortunately, with a neutral color like gray, she could have worn any color or length boot. Colors like black, dark brown and beige would go perfect with her attire.

This Fashionista also wore her navy blue vest from J.Crew to keep herself warm during these cold fall mornings. When it is too hot for a heavy jacket, yet to cold for a sweatshirt, wearing a vest is the perfect idea. Her school is still visible when wearing it, which makes it even better.

This Fashionista does a great job of rocking her school in style and she is all ready for the Homecoming football game. There are so many ways to style up your school spirit!
