“Anyone can get dressed up and glamorous, but it is how people dress in their days off that are the most intriguing.” In this quote, Alexander Wang explains college fashion in a nutshell. We all want to go to class in our sweatpants and sweatshirts in hopes of being as comfortable as we can, while wearing our nicest clothes on the weekends when we have a little more time to put into our wardrobe. My job as a CollegeFashionista Style Guru is to scout out those individuals who still want to make a statement when the last thing they want to be worrying about is their fashion.
My name is Samantha David and this is my second semester writing for CollegeFashionista. I couldn’t be more pleased to have this opportunity again! I am attending the University of Denver and double majoring in Marketing and International Business and minoring in French. I am also highly involved with my sorority and the figure skating team.
Being involved in many different activities on campus definitely keeps me on the run. I try to make time in my everyday schedule to look professional for class. I believe that it is important to look professional in class because people that could potentially be future employers or future co-workers surround us everyday.
Join me this spring semester as we find the Fashionistas and Fashionistos on the University of Denver campus!
