Fashion is boundless; it is a surplus of trends existing to suit expansive crowds. Experimentation with varied styles serves a source of evanescent bliss for those daring enough to breach the norm. By mixing fabrics and textures with basic items, the intimidation of such fashion risks suddenly becomes easier to confront.
This week’s Fashionista, Jackie Bokor, braves the black-on-black look. Though many shy away from edgier ensembles, she embraced the challenge. Her vintage top by LF features an album cover of American metal band, Disturbed. Despite its dark side, the shirt still exudes femininity with a chic tulle paneling smothered in silver sequins. Jackie’s unique leggings boast thick leather strips, adding depth to her all black appearance. Combat boots satisfy the outfit’s grunge, while her red mini M.A.C. handbag by Rebecca Minkoff offers a necessary pop of color.
