Attempting to get out of bed after waking up to the soothing sound of raindrops sprinkling on your window is not an easy task. It’s tempting to want to stay in your cozy bed snuggled up with a hot cup of coffee to rewatch your favorite movie. But, unfortunately reality sets in, your alarm clocks buzzes loudly and a list of the million things you need to do starts swarming around in your head. Although it may sound most convenient to take on the day in sweats, every Fashionista and Fashionisto knows that’s just not socially acceptable. So, take advantage of the rain by dressing comfortably, yet still in a stylish manner. Throw on your favorite pair of pants and jacket and try not be fazed by the rainy day ahead.
Denim jackets are a huge hit for spring 2013. From runaways to sidewalks, this trend is making its way into every Fashionisto’s closet across the world. Worn with a nice pair of khakis, this Fashionisto rocked his jean jacket perfectly. If khakis aren’t your cup of tea, don’t be afraid to pair a jacket like this with denim pants. As long as the two denims are different shades, the fashion police won’t be coming your way.
If you haven’t already noticed, I am a huge fan of graphic T-shirts. It must have started in middle school when dELiA*s offered a massive amount of graphic T-shirt options. Yet since then, my obsession has just grown fonder and I believe I don’t stand alone. Under his denim and button-down, this Fashionisto sported a vibrant graphic. The bright colors added some light to his gloomy day. This Fashionisto’s dapper outfit is confirmation that you can still look fabulous on a not so fabulous day.
