Walking around the Humanities side of campus, I spotted this Fashionisto, ironically a biology major, pulling his rad bicycle out from the bike rack. His beige button-up, striped T-shirt, dark denim jeans and choice in shoes captivated me into photographing him.
Name: Peter Ro
Major: Biology
Year: Freshman
CollegeFashionista: What are you wearing today?
Peter Ro: Sperry Top-Siders, Zara button-up, Urban Outfitters striped T-shirt and Foreign Exchange jeans.
CF: Who or what inspires your style?
PR: I don’t have anyone specific.
CF: Where do you usually shop?
PR: Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica. Cotton On, Urban Outfitters and Active are where I go most of the time.
CF: With this colder weather coming up, what trends are you excited to wear?
PR: Coats and cardigans. I bought a cardigan but I haven’t been able to wear it. I’m excited to wear thicker clothes.
How To: Guys, the colors and fit of this outfit make it perfect for fall. Start off with dark denim jeans, cuffed or not cuffed at the bottom. Personally, I love the cuffed jeans look because it gives off a casual and quirky touch to your outfit. Do as this Fashionisto and match a striped T-shirt with a neutral colored button-up. I say this outfit is perfect for fall weather because you can easily take off the button-up, when Orange County’s sun beats on you as you’re walking across campus, and still look fashionable. Finish your outfit off with those oh-so popular, but amiable, Sperry Top-Siders. If you really want to stand out, a clean pair of Nike Air Max sneakers will do wonders for your outfit.
