As the school year comes to a close, what better way to goodbye to spring and hello to summer than to surround yourself with pastel colors? Pastels provide a different color palette for your ensemble without overloading your outfit with too much color.

What’s nice about pastel colors is that you can wear them with dark colors, such as the basic navy shirt you usually only wear during the winter, and it can transform the piece into something wearable for spring.

Slip on a pair of white shorts or a denim skirt, throw on your favorite pair of sunglasses and sandals and you’re ready to go out and enjoy the sun.
