In the spirit of back school I’ve decided to give an ode to the uniform. You can’t go wrong with the classic staples; polo and shorts, crisp and classic. You can brighten up the standard polo and khakis by wearing colored bottoms for a pop of color. If you’re really feeling bold you can try bolder colors like yellow, purple, green or red. You can find these at department stores, Gap, J. Crew and they’re even popping up at Target.
Your accessories can really jazz up an outfit. Don’t be afraid to wear an interesting bracelet or arm-band to spice up a plain ensemble. Benedict has on a nice gold watch that can be worn with almost anything, whether he chooses to dress up or down. As a college student you don’t need to donate blood or plasma to afford a Rolex, there are several other options. You can find a nice classic watch. Check out the watches at American Apparel and Urban Outfitters for a fraction of the cost. You can also check out local thrift shops and see if you can find an inexpensive vintage watch. On his other wrist he has a beaded bracelet. This could be a fun DIY or if you’re not the crafty type you can pick some up at American Eagle, Target or Urban Outfitters.
