Who said fall wardrobes were limited to neutral shades of beige and black? I’ve seen this Fashionisto around campus before, and he’s almost always sporting some bright colored, stylish pieces. Bringing his own unique style to University College Utrecht, this Fashionisto proves that a fall-appropriate outfit can be whatever you want it to be, bright colors and all.
Name: Daniel Herm-Morris
Major: Undecided
Year: First
College Fashionista: Who or what inspires your style and why?
Daniel Herm-Morris: Kanye West or Pharell Williams. I love their urban gentleman styles. I think both of them are generally very tasteful guys.
CF: Where do you usually shop?
DHM: Skateshops or vintage shopes like Episode. I also shop at places like H&M and New Yorker.
CF: What is your favorite item in your closet?
DHM: I don’t really know, I don’t necessarily have a favorite item. If I have to say something, I guess it would probably be my bright pink hoodie.
CF: Any advice for guys looking to add some unique style to their own wardrobes?
DHM: Firstly, get to know your style properly and try to find clothes that scream out your name.
How To: To get this Fashionisto’s look, start with a good pair of colored trousers. One option would be this plum-colored pair from Top Man. Looking to stay on trend, color-wise? Try this mustard pair from Top Man. For warmth and layering, add a bomber jacket in the appropriate color. This style, also from Top Man, would work well and keep you warm. An important part of having a style similar to this Fashionisto's is to add personal touches and individualized style to the outfit. To add some fun personalization, check out some Nikes and customize them accordingly. For a button-down, look on ASOS for reasonable prices for basic staples.
