In almost every romance comedy movie, when it is a rainy day you now something fantastic is going to happen. The perfect dressed girl and the gorgeous guy will finally get together. In the real world, however, this is not the case at all. A rainy and cold day are the days that most people give up being a Fashionista. Days like these are the ones where most people think it is appropriate to dress like a bum and not care what they look like whatsoever.
This Fashionista, however, did not treat this rainy day as something to damper her style. She took on the horrible weather with her head held high and looked stylish while doing it.
When I spotted this Fashionista she was in the midst of a sea of sweatpant clad college students. The initial thing I noticed about her fantastic rainy day outfit was the fun umbrella. Most people carry around a bland umbrella and don’t realize it is a form of accessorizing. This Fashionista took the full liberty to use this protection device as another form of accessorizing.
The next thing that caught my eye about this Fashionista’s rainy day attire were her rain boots. Rain boots are such a fantastic accessorizing piece in the world of things needed in the rain. Though she strayed away from the typical black matted, they still had a very classic look.
Recreating a wonderful rainy day outfit like this one is so unbelievably easy. All it takes is a few clouds and a little rain and you’ll be all set. The first way you can recreate this outfit is taking a pair of boots like these from Hunter with a dress like this from American Apparel and a jacket like this from Urban Outfitters.
The next way you can recreate an outfit like this is take a vibrant pair of rain boots like these ones with a dress like this and finish the outfit off with a jacket like this one. To top both of the outfits off all you need is an umbrella like this from Target.
Even though rainy days are a total drag, by having a great outfit it could make the day a little brighter.
