As the winter quickly approaches bright, vibrant colors are starting to diminish while soft neutral colors appear. What I like about this Fashionista is that she combined the neutral colors together very well. Putting together lace-less oxfords, a blue button-down, light beige khakis and a light beige trench coat comes together to create an effortless, chic look.
While her outfit is very well put together, what stood out to me was her hair. The Fashionista’s hair had so much volume and gorgeous small curls. Her hair matched perfectly with her outfit because it consisted of all neutrals and had a very relaxed appearance, and yet the volume of her hair gave her a strong presence. To achieve voluminous hair, it is fairly easy. All you need is hairspray, a comb and a hair dryer. If you would like to get voluminous hair on a time crunch, simply select sections of your hair towards the back of your skull and spray with hairspray, then get a comb and tease it a little. Next, take the extra hair on top and cover the teased part. When trying to create the look without any rush, get a hair dryer and again take sections of your hair: blow dry it a few inches from the scalp, tease it, and finish it off by hair spraying it to make it last longer. For a good holding hairspray, Garnier Fructis Style Volumizing Anti-Humidity Hairspray, any type of comb will do and any hair dryer will work fine.
