FASHIONISTA SPOTLIGHT: Ava Jaulin

Fashionista Spotlight

It's hard to figure out just what to wear these days with the weather being in a near constant state of flux. Rain one day could mean warm and sunny the next. And when it's almost midterms and there are papers to write and tests to take the last thing a fashion conscious student wants to worry about is figuring out what to wear. Check out our fellow Fashionista's colorful and fall inspired outfit as she embraces the unseasonal warmth with a casual red dress and bold white boots.

Name: Ava Jaulin

Major: English and Women Studies

Year: Junior

CollegeFashionista: How would you describe your style?

Ava Jaulin: I would call it eclectic, classic with an urban twist.

CF: What or who inspires you and how you dress?

AJ: The earliest influences cam from my family. The women in my family were always dressed impeccably yet they all had their own style. Later on I would credit the likes of Marc Jacobs, Audrey Hepburn, Alexa Chung, Rihanna, Zoe Kravitz and Nicole Richie.

CF: What is one item you cannot live without?

AJ: My black leather Frye boots I inherited from my mom.

CF: How has your style changed since you've been at college?

AJ: It has evolved from year to year as my responsibilites have increased. As I get closer and closer to graduation I have intergrated more professional
items into my everyday while taking care to keep my own twist on them

How To: Try out this Fashionista's colorful dress with this one from Forever 21 and pair it with these funky boots from Steve Madden
