When Lionel Richie sang his devoted song Three Times A Lady, I believe he was onto something. After spotting this Fashionista (the last of the epic three girls I approached at the markets), my heart fluttered with joy to see such a ladyl Fashionista! My current love for outrageous flower crowns had me first noticing her purple flower crown popping up in the crowd. At that moment I already had bowed down in appreciation tp her daring headpiece choice. To me she was titled queen of the daring Fashionistas!
Then came her laced dolly white dress — oh how cute it was! I managed to ask her where she purchased the dress from and she said with a smile ‘Lady Petrova!’ An absolute girly boutique filled with flower crowns, prom dresses and balloon unicorns (for mere visual display), it wasn’t a surprise where she got the outfit inspiration from. The puritan and angelic look without effort turned heads. By now angels were shining light down upon her and her halo was shining. Oh hallelujah!
Lastly, her whimsical heart shaped patterned stockings and Dorothy-like red magic shoes just had me at hello. First she was queen, then she was an angel sent from heaven. Life just got so much better! In adding up all these items (one: the flower crown, two: the dress, three: the stockings and four: the shoes) it is fair enough to say this Fashionista is four times a Lady.
If being girly is your thing, follow this Fashionistas style head to toe! Be daring and wear the ultra feminine dress to class. You can easily find a doll dress like this at your local vintage store.
Add some bright stockings, cute-as-a-button shoes and top it off with over-the-top accessories such as a flower crown. It is so easy to DIY your own flower crown these days. Just grab a plain headband, faux flowers and a glue gun. Once your outfit is complete, go out for some tea and macaroons. It’s nice to be a lady.
