Denim is the unofficial fabric of the fall. It is easy to be dressed up or down, matches most everything in your closet and can even be worn with itself! Recently, denim-on-denim is becoming more and more socially acceptable, and not just as the slang term, “Canadian tuxedo.” Although this stigma was attached to the overuse of denim for many years, this is hopefully a thing of the past.
This Fashionista manages to pull off this trend flawlessly by simply treating the denim items as if they were different pieces composed of different fabrics. I also think that maybe it is the pieces used in the outfit that make the difference.
