This Fashionisto immediately stood out to me and I had to snap a picture. It was more than his clothing, it was his attire but how laid-back he seemed in them. Through the plaid button up, black skinny jeans, well-worn work-boots and a fabulous tie-dye bandana, it all came together smoothly. Even if I saw the outfit without the headband I would have taken a picture but with the unique addition it really made this outfit his own.
While on the topic of his tie-dye headband, it not only supplied the outfit with personality but also a flash of color. Seems like he took your basic bandana and tie-dyed it! Just an idea for a little DIY project on one of these rainy days that we have been having. With his longer hair, it's a stylish way to keeping it off his face.
Moving along, his plaid shirt works well with his black skinny jeans as he ties in his brown belt with his brown boots. Though one may have a hard time comprehending the flow with the colorful bandana, it is far enough away to have it’s own little party up there. With so many pieces of large characteristics it was a good idea for him to go with the solid skinny jeans to mellow the outfit down.
Learning that this Fashionisto is a well-traveled person, it only made sense that he is supporting this hipster trend with a flare of uniqueness. After a year abroad with only a year back on campus, this Fashionisto is off to a new destination, Cuba, which I find fascinatingly fun. Traveling the world will always influence your style in a positive and in an inimitable way, which clearly has already stumbled upon this Fashionisto.
Hint: I know I’m not the only one who participates in tie-dying every summer. With a bandana you may have lying around, throw that into the mix. Your local Army Navy Store will always have one for sale. If you want to take a small step, just go with a solid color bandana instead of tie dying it. It keeps your hair out of the way if you have longer hair so it’s a win-win situation. For tops you can really go with any plain T-shirt you want preferably in a calming color or a plaid button up alike this Fashionisto. Next take a pair of skinny jeans, regular denim wash or black. The last step is your shoes. His work boots really wrap the outfit together nicely so stick with ones similar to his. It only takes four items to get his look!
