In England’s countryside, rain boots are a must if you want to get through events like the Glastonbury festival. This Fashionista was attending a rock concert in the cold harsh weather of Montreal.
The snow is still hitting hard in the city so winter boots are indispensable. This Fashionista opted for stylish Timberland boots with waterproof leather to keep her feet warm and comfortable. They are not only practical but actually go really well with her rock chick look. Personally, Dr. Martens are my favourite when it comes to leather boots.
I really like the grey beanie and matching snood she is wearing, as they don’t overwhelm the rest of the outfit. In terms of accessories, her long elephant pendant is not only stunning but also perfect for a concert as there aren’t too many risks that it would be damaged. Overcomplicated jewellery is easily broken in large gigs so you don’t want to wear too many accessories. If you’re going to wear any you should definitely pick the simplest kind.
Usually for concerts I would recommend bringing a small satchel at best but in this case the Fashionista had a report to do on the show. Thus a large bag was perfect. It let her bring all the essentials such as her camera and her notepad.
You should certainly not let the weather get in the way of your excitement. Concerts are fun occasions for experimenting with your clothing while keeping it casual. The kind of concert you go to usually influences the way you dress but this Fashionista’s fresh, preppy look is appropriate for any type of show. Her patterned skinny jeans bring a touch of colour to the outfit. By not staying in your comfort zone with your average denim you can really stand out from the crowd. Patterned jeans can be found just about everywhere. Some even exist in velvet patterns (which you can find at Zara), which can be perfect for a night out on the town with a leather jacket like the one this Fashionista is wearing here.
One Simple Change: For a night out with friends, change the large bag for a small handbag or hand clutch and wear heeled boots instead of everyday winter boots.
