Style Guru Bio

After studying abroad in Rome for the past three and a half months, I am happy to be back home in Los Angeles and excited to write for CollegeFashionista once again. Studying and traveling in Europe was an incredible opportunity that allowed me to visit cities I had previously only dreamed of seeing, make great friends, learn a lot about myself and increase my awareness of and appreciation for everything around me. Although I experienced a little bit of reverse culture shock upon my return home, it has been lovely to see all of the friends that I have missed and return to a more normal routine. I do often, however, find myself reminiscing about my time spent drinking cappuccinos at the piazza near my apartment, going to the Trevi fountain in the middle of the night and eating the best gelato ever from Giolitti’s.

I am now a junior, still a Communication Studies major and Italian minor, and I've missed capturing all the great street style found on the UCLA campus. My love for fashion stems from my middle school years, when I stopped wearing a uniform of boring baggy sweatshirts, jeans and Vans and discovered how fun it is to dress up and express my personality or how I’m feeling through what I wear. I admire seeing those around me embrace their individuality and creativity through their outfits because I love changing up my style daily by channeling my inner rebel one day to my bohemian hippie side the next. Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy my future Wednesday FASHIONISTA SPOTLIGHT posts!

P.S. Here's a link to my blog.
